Hello all,
Snow earlier this month meant the Our Red Book reading up at Bard was postponed. The reading—featuring Daaimah Mubashshir, Victoria Law, and Somah Haaland—will now be happening this coming Tuesday (March 28th) at 6:30 PM. Following the reading, there will be tea and time to talk.
Tuesday, March 28th, 6:30 PM, Bard College, Fisher Center
Our Red Book Reading. RSVP here.
Very excited to share that there will be two more events coming up in D.C. in April!
Thursday, April 13th, Mount Pleasant Neighborhood Library
Bleeding and Being: Author Reading + Writing Workshop
(There’s going to be a “bleeding wall” of local period stories at this branch!)
Saturday, April 15th, MLK (Main) Branch
Our Red Book Author Talk + Community Fair
A big thank you to Verity Sturm and Julie Siegel, two spirited librarians who are making these utopian events come to life!!!
Lastly, please enjoy this wonderful spread from Our Red Book featured in this month’s weekend edition of The Boston Globe. I love seeing all the ways these stories can continue to travel. And I love imagining readers waking up to these words on a Sunday morning….
Special thanks to my cousin Matan who picked up a copy of the paper for me on a very cold morning.
